Drama - The Mousetrap
Add a bit of theatre to your summer and support the MVHS Drama Club.  Show dates are July 23, 24, 25, 27 & 29 and then again on August 1, 3, 5 & 7, each night beginning at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults and can be purchased at The Books Inn and at the door at MVHS before showtimes.

Fourteen local artist & members of the Miramichi Art Core, are pleased to announce that for the third year, their work will be on display and for sale at the Gallery located at Ritchie Wharf.  Gallary opens at 1:00pm and there is no admission fee, so come see all different mediums of art and have a chance to speak to one of the local artist.

ATTENTION ACTORS!  Parts Available for volunteers 2010 Beaubears Island Historic Tour Season!
They are looking for anyone interested in acting on the Beaubears Island tours and other theatrical productions on the Island.  We offer a variety of characters and experiences tailored to each entertainer.  Performances will be at the actor’s discretion, as we hope to work around the players’ schedules.  You can act as much or as little as you like.  This is NOT a full-time paid position.  This is a way for aspiring acting talent to show off their skill.  Performers of all ages are welcome. Starting June 15th you can walk with Mango!  The Mango group is a walking group that will meet every Tuesday at 6:30pm at Strawberry Marsh which is near the water treatment plant in Miramichi.  Everyone is welcome to come out to walk to enjoy the weather and the beautiful scenery of Miramichi.

There is a Basketball Summer Camp being held at the Blackville School Gym for students entering Kindergarten - Gr. 4 from 9:00am - 11:30am.  Those students entering grades 5 - 9 will have their camps from 12:30pm - 3:00pm.  The registration cost is $35 for the first child and $20 for each additional sibling.  T-shirts will also be available for additional $10 but quantities are limited.  Registration forms can be picked up at the Blackville school access center.

JULY 26, Monday - JULY 30, Friday
There will be a Saddle Ridge Ranch Day Camp at the Little Southwest Recreation Center in Sillikers, NB from 9:00am - 4:00pm.  All Boys and Girls ages 5-10 are more than welcome to attend and reminded to bring their Bible, sunscreen, bug spray, bag lunch and to dress for weather.  The cost is either $10 per day or $50 for the week and for more information, please call 506-622-7388.  The Day Camp is hosted by Gary & Christina Long from The Canadian Sunday School Mission Ministries.

The Grand Opening celebration of The Salvation Army Miramichi Emergency Shelter!  This special event will take place from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at The Salvation Army Community Resource Centre (231 Pleasant Street, Miramichi).  Festivities will include words from Salvation Army leadership, a plaque unveiling and dedication, facility tours and refreshments, among other highlights.

The  Ladies of the Miramichi are invited to a LIVE Simulcast with renowned Bible Teacher and Author - Beth Moore to be held at the Newcastle United Baptist Church, beginning at 10:00am.  The day will start with a pre-worship service and then the live feed from Chicago Illinios will start at 11:00am.  Seating is limited and ladies are encouraged to a commitment as early as possible.
