Survey Shows Restaurants Suffering Due to Vaccine Mandates

According to a new survey from Restaurants Canada, 60 per cent of restaurant owners reported either a slight or significant revenue loss due to COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
Vaccinations are required to eat inside restaurants in most provinces, including New Brunswick, meaning those who are not fully vaccinated are not allowed to dine in at most restaurants across the country.
The survey also found that 46 per cent of restaurant owners are currently operating at a loss.
Restaurants have suffered across the country since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, due to restrictions on dine-in service and limits on restaurant capacity.
