The New Brunswick Farm Products Commission has announced that the price of milk will increase by 6.5 cents per litre on September 1.
A mid-year price adjustment is not normally made by the commission. The last mid-year price increase made by the New Brunswick Farm Products Commission took place in 2018.
The commission says pricing under the School Milk Program will remain unchanged for the upcoming school year.
Milk prices were last raised in June by the Canadian Dairy Commission.
