The provincial government, through Opportunities NB, will support the creation of up to 40 full-time positions in a variety of nuclear engineering roles at a new Kinectrics Inc. office in Saint John.

The company provides services to clients around the world through its expertise in engineering, testing, inspection and certification, its independent laboratory and testing facilities, a fleet of field inspection equipment and an award-winning team of more than 1,000 engineers and technical experts.

Arlene Dunn, minister responsible for Opportunities NB, said the salaries for these jobs will be competitive, and it is estimated that Kinectrics’ investment in the province will produce more than $11.5 million in incremental GDP growth. To support the creation of these jobs, Opportunities NB is providing a payroll rebate of up to $550,000.
