The number of people admitted to the province’s hospitals for COVID-19 has remained steady over the last week.

According to the latest COVID-19 update, there were 19 hospitalizations for the week ending October 1, which is an increase of just 1 from the previous week.

Unfortunately another 5 deaths due to COVID-19 were reported over the past week, bringing the total number of pandemic-related deaths in the province to 490.
