Federal Pre-Arrival Testing Requirement Ending Tomorrow
Posted on
Starting tomorrow, fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada will no longer be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Travelers will still be required to submit proof of vaccination through the ArriveCan website or app within 72 hours of their arrival.
The requirements are not changing for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated Canadians. These travelers will still need to follow pre-arrival, on-arrival, and day 8 testing requirements, and quarantine for 14 days after their arrival in the country.
According to the Canada Border Services Agency, foreign nationals who are not fully vaccinated are still not allowed to enter Canada.
The Canada Border Services Agency will continue to randomly select individuals to take a COVID-19 test, regardless of vaccination status.
