Three byelections were held in New Brunswick yesterday, and the Liberal Party won all three seats.

Party Leader Susan Holt won her seat in the riding of Bathurst East-Nepisiguit-Saint-Isodore, earning over 58 per cent of the vote.

In the riding of Restigouche-Chaleur, Liberal candidate Marco LeBlanc earned just over 50 per cent of the vote, and just under 70 per cent of voters chose Liberal candidate Richard Losier in the riding of Dieppe.

All three of the ridings were previously represented by Liberal MLAs.

The Progressive Conservatives hold 29 seats in the legislative assembly, and the Liberal Party now holds 16. The Green Party holds one seat, and one is independent.
