A boy from Miami, Florida, who was thought to have been abducted by his father was located safely in Moncton.

The child was reported missing in August, and was last seen on surveillance footage on August 29 at a Walgreens in Houlton, Maine.

The six-year-old was found safe by the RCMP, and both the child’s father and grandmother were arrested.

The case was being investigated by the FBI and the Miami-Dade Police Department.
