According to a new poll from the Angus Reid Institute, Canadians are evenly divided on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's pandemic performance.

48 per cent of respondents said Trudeau has done a "good" or "very good" job of handling COVID-19. Another 48 per cent believe the prime minister has done a "bad" or "very bad" job during the pandemic.

Atlantic Canadians were most likely to back the prime minister, with 60 per cent approving of his performance. Trudeau received the least amount of support in Alberta, with 67 per cent saying he's done a "bad" or "very bad" job.

The poll also found Atlantic Canadians were most likely to approve of their premier's handling of COVID-19, at 70 per cent. In Manitoba, just 20 per cent approve of the performance of former premier Brian Pallister and current premier Heather Stefanson.
