Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19 for a second time after returning home from a trip to California where he attended the Summit of the Americas.

The Prime Minister announced his diagnosis on Twitter, where he urged Canadians to get vaccinated and boosted.

In January of this year Trudeau tested positive after one of his children tested positive a week prior.

Trudeau’s wife, Sophie, tested positive for the virus after attending an event in London, UK, earlier in the pandemic.
