Work is expected to resume this Spring on the ongoing upgrades to the Centennial Bridge.
Tenders have been posted for phase four of the upgrades, which have been stalled since 2018.
According to the tender documents, keeping traffic flowing smoothly throughout the work is "of the utmost importance."
The 53-year-old bridge was expected to be closed for the entire 2020 construction season, but the provincial government has announced that the repairs will be spread across the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Bids for these repairs will be accepted until April 27th. The work must be completed by July 29th, 2022.
