Miramichi community wellness and recreation director Jason Walsh said the Over the Cove Zipline will remain closed for the rest of the 2021 season.

The zipline has been closed for the entire 2020 season due to COVID-19. Walsh said his department hoped to reopen this season as the province has moved to the green phase of recovery, but staff haven't been able to book an annual inspection for the zipline until late-September or October.
